BLM Blue Oaks Camp offers 6 first-come, first-served sites with picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets; no hookups or potable water; no camping fee. About 1.6 miles from Indian Valley Dam. Yolo County operates a for-fee RV campground near the dam (530-662-0265).
Good to know:
- Boats limited to 10 mph on the lake (5 mph within 200 yards of shore). Water level can drop substantially in summer.
- BLM area supports hunting, camping, bicycling, hiking, and equestrian use on chaparral foothills east of Lake County.
